BWT bestmin PREMIUM Remineralising Water Filter Cartridge
BWT bestmin PREMIUM turns very soft or reverse-osmosis (RO) water into balanced brewing water. It adds calcium and magnesium back into low-mineral water so espresso, filter coffee and tea extract properly and taste consistent. Machine Ltd is the New Zealand distributor of BWT water+more.
What it does
- Remineralisation – releases calcium and magnesium (a natural flavour carrier) into low-mineral water.
- Clean, neutral water – silver-treated activated carbon reduces chlorine, organic substances, odours and off-flavours.
- Particle filtration – pre- and fine particle filters.
bestmin PREMIUM is not a softener. Use it after an RO system or on naturally very soft water. For scale protection on harder water, choose BWT bestmax PREMIUM or bestprotect.

Installation and replacement
Fits the BWT besthead filter head. Replace when the capacity is used up or after 12 months at the latest.
FAQ
Do I need bestmin PREMIUM on New Zealand water?
Usually only if you run a reverse-osmosis system or your supply is extremely soft. Most cafés on town water are best served by bestmax PREMIUM. Ask us if you're unsure.
