The Mahlkönig DK27 Is Now the Ditting 1827
DK27 → 1827
Ditting has introduced the 1827 High Volume industrial coffee grinder as the successor to the Mahlkönig DK27, consolidating Hemro Group’s heavy-duty grinders under the Ditting brand.
Why the move?
Hemro Group (parent of Ditting and Mahlkönig) is aligning high-volume, industrial grinding under Ditting, known for ultra-reliable performance in production environments.
Here’s what the 1827 High Volume delivers:
-
Throughput built for scale: approx. 230–300 kg/h (medium, espresso) depending on burr set and application—ideal for continuous production.
-
Serious burr options: 180 mm burrs in fully hardened special steel, Turkish special steel, or hard-metal tungsten carbide for exceptional service life (TC approx. 250–450 tons).
-
Thermal stability for consistency: powerful three-phase motor with surface cooling, additional fans, and ventilation to protect grinds and uptime.
-
High-capacity handling: 30 kg hopper and 200 L container included—made for production lines.
The 1827 brings DK27-class capacity into a modern, Ditting-engineered platform with higher duty-cycle confidence and longer burr life options.
What about the Mahlkönig DK15?
The Mahlkönig DK15 is still available. It's a popular entry point to industrial grinding, with approx. 105–200 kg/h (fine to medium, model-dependent) and 130 mm burrs. Machine Ltd supports DK15 owners with service and parts, and can advise on upgrades.
Can I still get parts for my DK27?
Definitely. As your Mahlkönig distributor, Machine Ltd can continue to supply parts for and service/repair existing DK27s.
